Began in 1994 and has become a collection of 190 rare books infused with biblical insights and heroic, godly role models to be emulated by young and old. Over three million books are in distribution, now hand-crafted at our own bindery in Mt. Morris, NY. The Lamplighter bindery printed 38,000 books this year.
Lamplighter books demonstrate that outward compliance alone will not carry a child through the stresses and disappointments soon to be faced in adolescence and adulthood. Though life isn’t always fair, we can be confident that each disappointment and trial is designed by a loving God for our good. Romans 8:28
Lamplighter stories are much more than good and wholesome reading. The character traits children assimilate during their formative years are the foundation from which a life of faith in God is built.

Lamplighter Ministries International and Lamplighter Publishing is a non-denominational ministry. We believe without any doubt all things contained in Scripture to be true and a living letter to God’s children. The Bible, the true story of God’s great deeds has been written down (John 20:31) so that we may believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so believing, have life in His name. The Holy Scriptures have been given to us historically so that we might come to know the covenanting God and His way of doing things in creation and so that we might be able to obey Him more maturely, as adopted sons and daughters who had lost their way in the world.
